Our Customer Service staff can assist you with download reactivationNote: We are unable to manually reactivate orders made over 90 days ago. To retrieve all your purchases (including the ones made over 90 days ago), you can create and verify a free USER account at to have your entire purchase history available for download.

If you are having trouble downloading clips directly to your mobile device or tablet, use an existing or make a new Dropbox account. You can use the Save to Dropbox button and your file will be saved into your Dropbox making it accessible from any device that has access to your Dropbox account.

After your file has been downloaded, be sure to use the appropriate viewer to play your clips.

We recommend VLC Player: VLC for Android (Google Play) or VLC for Apple (App Store)

We suggest the following:1. Visit your initial download URL to re-download the clip in case of a bad download;2. After your file has been downloaded, be sure to use the appropriate viewer to play your clips. We recommend VLC Player. Get VLC for Free here:

3. If the playback issue persists after re-downloading the file and viewing it using VLC Player, contact our Customer Service for assistance.

Yes, you may have multiple studios on, but we advise against it because it can confuse your customers and divide your traffic to your store.To add another studio, you will need to complete another application, as you did for your first studio. Having identical payout information on all your studios will allow you to receive a grouped payout.

We payout once a month. You will receive a payout on the 7th of the month.Studio Payout options and Fee details:

  • ACH/Direct Deposits (US and US Territories) – FREE
  • Wire Transfer – US and US Territories – $20 / Canada – $20 / International (non-EU) – $45
  • SEPA International (EU) – FREE (paid in Euro, conversion based on daily conversion rate)
  • Paxum – FREE (no fees charged by clipsonsale, but the payout is subject to Paxum’s end-user fees)

Studio revenue percentage information:

  • VIDEO/DVD – 75%

Working with the industry-leading Takedown Piracy (TDP) we continue to forge forward in fingerprinting our full Clips On Sale library and we are actively going after pirate websites to remove any and all clips we find that belong to any studios that sell with us. This service is provided at NO CHARGE. We will immediately go after the website in an effort to have your clips removed and do our best to accomplish that task. We do not guarantee the content will be removed, but we will put 100% effort into getting it removed!All you have to do is:

  • Log into your Studio ADMIN
  • Click on the Content Piracy Report Form banner (found on the Home Page).
  • Complete the form (copy and paste the EXACT URLs for the clip(s) you wish to report).
  • Upon successful form submission, a confirmation modal (pop-up) with information about the process will appear.

To reset your password:

  • Go to the Studio Password Recovery and enter your studio ID# and email address
  • Complete the CAPTCHA verification
  • Click the “Reset my Password” button
  • Check your email inbox for the password reset email, click on the link provided.
  • Reset your password.

The Studio Password Recovery email does not provide usernames. If you do not have your username, contact our Studio Support department to verify your account so they can provide you with your lost username.

Contact the Studio Support department to have your studio content download access granted.Note: You must use a stand-alone FTP Client to access your files on the server. This is a program that you install on your computer (such as CuteFTP or FileZilla Client).
